As a tourist can I bring my personal drone?

The importing of a drone is liable to arouse the concern of customs officials. However, if you are bringing it in solely for amateur use and your own amusement, and will be taking it out at the end of your holiday, and you exit customs through the Green Channel, you should not have a problem. If you are worried, best to check with Sri Lanka customs before your visit with drone details and your reasons for using it and keep a copy of whatever answer you get so you can show you have followed the correct procedure.
